Each lesson includes: An introduction of the lesson's subject, a short slideshow (15 min), taking photos inside or outside of the classroom (30 min), reviewing the photos, and a concluding summary. The students can use their own cameras or the class cameras, as they please.
This session will be more advanced and will rely on the knowledge obtained in the fall session. This class is for students who are interested in deepening their learning further. We will learn new subjects such as: Shutter speed (taking photos in the dark, "freezing" water), Reflections, Food photography, Textures, Still life photography, Street photography, etc.
We will expand our knowledge on subjects we have introduced in the previous session: different types of compositions, depth of field, how to stage a photo, portraiture and editing.
We will experiment more in studio photography, and will have more classes in which students will have the opportunity to take photos in a professional studio setting.
We will learn more about using the cameras, as well as how to apply the knowledge we have obtained to our own cameras and phones.
New students may join by permission of instructor only: firstname.lastname@example.org
Participants must be entering grades 4 to 7.
Registration starts on 12/03/2018 and ends on 01/11/2019.
